New Ohio Redistricting Idea Proposed with Only Weeks Left in the Legislative Session

Initiative Petition on Redistricting?

An Akron Beacon Journal editorial states that Ohio can not wait for the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission or the legislature to reform redistricting, and a citizen-led  initiative petition drive should be started.  See Redistricting reform? Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission’s Legislative & Executive Branch Committee Agree on Recommendations for Redistricting Board

Per the Akron Beacon Journal: The Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission’s Legislative & Executive Branch Committee agreed that a seven-member board should draw new legislative and congressional districts, beginning after the 2020 census.
